    Ecommerce Packaging Design for a Spectacle Client

    Optican ShopA well-known glasses retailer that was expanding into the ecommerce sector needed packaging assistance.

     

    The Challenge:

    A well-known ecommerce glasses retailer required assistance in designing a new protective postal packaging option for its ever-increasing range of spectacle frames.

     

    Solution:


    Allpack CAD Dept Image 1Allpack’s CAD Design team examined the various spectacle sizes, shapes and robustness being distributed, the current packing process and how they are distributed, either per unit, or delivered internally to their high street shops for customer pickups.

     

     

    Implementation:


    Allpack’s Innovation Lab worked closely with company engineers to innovate in designing and manufacturing a sturdy yet streamlined container for the company’s wide array of optical frames, ensuring the secure placement of its products whilst in transit to customers.


     

     

    Results:


    The client was impressed with the innovative corrugated product that went into production to house all their ecommerce spectacle ranges, which helped them to increase the number of frames being sent out and reduced the level of damages.
